TunaFish Information

TunaFish (www.tnfsh.nl) is a travel agency for independent travellers based in the Netherlands. Focusing mainly on the Dutch student and youth market, TunaFish yearly helps around 50.000 travellers preparing for their trip, e.g. by finding a cheap flight and/or a quality travel insurance. TunaFish focuses on the trip basics (flight + insurance) and believes travellers should arrange most of their trip locally, using local travel providers. Therefore, the aim of the TunaFish initiative (www.tnfsh.com) is to help independent travellers find quality local tourism companies. For example tour operators, travel agencies, language schools, voluntary work projects and hotels & hostels. Travellers can suggest their favourite company to be listed (and add a review) or view reviews added by other travellers. Local tourism companies have the possibility to be listed (and offer a discount to TunaSpecial members). Travellers can become TunaSpecial member, to support the initiative and to get discounts at participating local tourism companies.
