The Rockford IceHogs are the proud affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks and members of the NHL’s top developmental league, the American Hockey League. 18 former IceHogs have won a Stanley Cup, including 10 on each Blackhawks Stanley Cup Championship team in 2010 and 2013. Since joining the AHL in 2007, 48 skaters have played in the NHL with the Blackhawks after appearing in a game with the IceHogs. The Evansville Thunderbolts, established in 2016, are a part of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) playing 56 games a season against 10 other teams in 7 different states. Our 28 home games are played at the Ford Center in downtown Evansville, IN, with a capacity of over 6,000 seats. Thunderbolt games are from October through April and are one of the main events in the Tri-State area that always can be relied upon for great entertainment for people of all ages, groups, and backgrounds.
