Tufts Engineers Without Borders Information

The Tufts University Chapter of Engineers Without Borders is a student-run group dedicated to bringing sustainable engineering solutions to communities in need around the world. Currently, we are working on three active projects: Makwelani, Malawi – Bringing clean drinking water and handwashing stations to the community through the implementation of a borehole and sanitation infrastructure. Santa Estefania de Malta Pura, Ecuador – Designing a water catchment and distribution system to provide running water directly to individual households. Tufts Local Project – Building and maintaining a greenhouse on campus to educate the community on engineering and sustainability while supplying fresh produce to our partners at the Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC).
