This support is especially critical as many of our former junior level players (who have represented Toronto and Ontario) eventually rise to the senior player level and become considered for Canada opportunities. At this age, traditional Inner Rugby (TIRFRugby.ca) support is no longer available above the U18s age grades and as these athletes enter university and college, costs skyrocket and players from non-traditional communities cannot afford the cost of playing at club and higher levels. TSAF specifically targets assisting these representative players in full time education. In return, players are expected to give a 3 year commitment to the club, to bring back and transfer their knowledge to their clubmates and coaches and to recruit players by promoting the culture and ethos of the Toronto Saracens. This year, we've already seen the on-field performance of the Club teams benefit from having these Canada, Ontario and Toronto players continue to represent the club, and are seeing the benefits of the past 14 years of building the Saracen Junior programmes show up at the senior player levels. However, it takes contributions from all alumni and alumnae to really make this work and we need your help. Please click here to add your support
