"𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐈𝐧𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐲. 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐈𝐧𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬." Every conversation. Every client. Every person who finally understands what their body has been trying to tell them. Ruth Anne shows up in all of it. She was the person who made my ordinary life feel like a calling. She was the light of every room she entered. She was suppose to be the mother of my children. She was 39 when she died. I was 47 when I had to learn how to keep going without her. Grief has a way of becoming the most powerful teacher. Not because it should cost that much. But because love that deep refuses to stay quiet. I spent 25 years as a clinical pharmacist. I dispensed the medications that manage disease. I did not understand until later that my purpose was always meant to be something larger. Losing Ruth Anne broke that open. I stopped asking what medication comes next. I started asking what the body was actually trying to say. I started asking what the upstream answer looked like. That question changed everything. TruthInWellness was built on that question. Every mother who is still here. Every father who is still here. Every child who still has time. Every person who is still reading these words. They all deserve the upstream answer before their window closes. They all deserve a chance to build a foundation that lets them stay present for the people they love. I do this work because they all matter. I do this work because Ruth Anne mattered. I do this work because love that deep never actually stops. It just finds a new direction to move. Her name was Ruth Anne. She was my wife. She was my best friend. She was my whole world. She still is. Dr. Kent Founder, TruthInWellness
