Hersh co-founded True Entertainment in 2000, alongside business and producing partner Steven Weinstock. The mega-successful True was acquired by Endemol Shine North America in 2003, and in 2015, Hersh (and Weinstock) also assumed the helm of Original Media (also an Endemol Shine company).
