Trove aims to create a platform that will allow access to 3D printing beyond engineers and designers. Users will be able to able to customize everyday objects to suit their needs, share their designs with friends, and create them through 3D printing. The user experience will be centered around a Trove - a digital repository and online profile where users can collect designs provided by our in-house design team or from other users. With an intuitive customization interface, users will be able to modify our base level designs or further alter designs from other users’ Troves. Through this iterative process, users will engage in a rich network of collaborative design, social engagement, and digital fabrication. With available materials ranging from 18K gold to sandstone, users will be able to 3D print their designs exactly as envisioned.
