Troublesmiths Information

We are a youth social enterprise powered by hard work and positivity. We specialise in personal growth, work experience and making. Our team is made up of young Tasmanians who are at risk of long term unemployment; but have taken their futures into their own hands. Often, our Troublesmiths are misjudged and labelled as troublesome, misfits, or ‘dolebludgers’ (that old chestnut). But instead, we see potential. We see dreams, and aspiration, and human beings with unique talents who just want to catch a break. Our Troublesmiths work hard at overcoming their troubles and proudly say, “despite the odds through my hard work, I made it”.
