SugarBytes began by celebrating success in sugarcane farming and profiling the key elements behind that success to the greater industry. Challenges in the industry lead to extensive diversification. TropicalBytes is a result of keeping pace with change and industry needs. As a mission-driven platform, we are dedicated to empowering knowledge within South Africa's agricultural community. We currently focus and specialise in the macadamia, avocado, and sugarcane industries. Over the years, we've explored more than 90 leading farms, meticulously dissecting, documenting, and sharing comprehensive insights into industry best practices, challenges, and innovations. Since pivoting from sugarcane, TropicalBytes has interviewed over 30 industry leading macadamia farmers, 10+ avocado farmers and several crop specialists.
