TrønderEnergi wants to help our region meet its energy needs in a renewable and cost-effective way. Our core business is about producing energy (primarily water and wind) and contributing to electrification through energy-related services. TrønderEnergi is organized as a group with TrønderEnergi AS as parent company. CEO Ståle Gjersvold is the general manager of the group. The business is organized into units and staffs; The units Operations, Energy Management, Market & Business Development, Technology and Projects. And the staffs: Reporting and Finance, Adm.staff and General Counsel, Organization and Communication. Director of Communications is Stig Tore Laugen. TrønderEnergi owns the company Ohmia Charging AS which provides charging services and Ohmia Retail AS which provides energy advice, energy management and energy monitoring in the grocery industry. TrønderEnergi is owned by 24 municipalities in Trøndelag (old Sør-Trøndelag), KLP (Kommunal Landspensjonskasse mutual insurance company) and Nordmøre Energiverk AS. TrønderEnergi owns 40% of the grid company Tensio.
