We at Tripeze.com believe in making things simple for you. From the design of our online booking engine to our overall, uncluttered look we try not to bombard you with extraneous "stuff' that has more flash, than substance. With this in mind we chose to purchase the online content of Rough Guides which is our main travel content provider. Rough Guides: People generally use the Rough Guides content online while planning their travels, or looking up a hotel or restaurants for a short stay or business trip, and then use the corresponding Rough Guide for that destination while on the road. Tripeze.com: Has your presence online influenced the sales of your traditional guidebooks? How, and by how much? Rough Guides: We've always viewed our online presence as both a service and a marketing platform. By introducing customers to the quality of Rough Guides' travel information and writing, we have seen a roll-over effect to guidebook sales. Since that first online venture back in 1994 sales of Rough Guides out of stores have, I'm happy to say, grown and grown. Tripeze.com: How is your site, or the packaging of your information, different from other travel sites? Rough Guides: Rough ...
