Tripda’s mission, based on the principles of the sharing economy, was to revolutionize the way people traveled by connecting passengers and drivers making similar trips so everyone benefits: the driver, each passenger, society, and the environment. Tripda allowed regular people to reduce their travel costs, meet new friends, and conveniently reach their destination, all in a super simple, cool and environmentally-friendly way! Travel with comfort, safety and security while supporting the environment! Tripda operated in Brazil, United States, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. We shut down in 2015, but are thankful to have met so many great users and event organizers. Long-distance ridesharing continues to grow as both large companies and startups offer sharing platforms. We celebrate these companies and are happy to speak with any teams about our learnings.
