TRIP Information

TRIP is a multicultural establishment: we host theatre and circus shows, dance performances, concerts. Founded in 2017, our main goal was to create a unique venue that showcases the different art-forms of the Hungarian performance industry. TRIP found its home on a historic ship anchored right opposite the Parliament on the Danube. Due to COVID-19, we had to completely reinvent ourselves since cultural establishments are closed for the unforeseeable future. We decided to take to online platforms, so our audience can follow our performances via livestream, and we established the First Hungarian Quarantine Theatre. We have theatre performances, concerts, and a webseries, mostly revolving around the topic of the current pandemic. We believe that art has to reflect upon the times it exists in. In the meanwhile, we do our best to support ourselves and our performers both creatively and financially with the help of our audience.
