Phase 1b priority population groups include: 2. people 70 years of age or older; 4. Aborginal and Torres Islander adults over 55 years; 5. Younger people with underlying medical condition, including people with disability; and 6. critical and high risk workers, including Australian Government officials about to be deployed overseas on official government business. With bulkbilling available via a valid Medicare Card or Dept Veteran Affairs Card, patients who do not qualify for bulkbilling are charged a practice fee instead.
