Fadó Irish Pub is based in Atlanta, GA. Our name means 'long ago' in Gaelic and was often used when telling a story as in, 'Fado , fado...' or 'Long, long ago'. We chose it as our name because our goal is to tell the story of Ireland and it's rich pub culture. We continue to push the Irish pub concept forward with ever evolving food and beverage programs, a strong focus on hospitality, management development, customer engagement and proactive sales building. Originally designed by Calvert Vaux and built in 1870 to house the park’s sheep, Tavern on the Green has welcomed presidents, royalty, artists, and visitors from around the world since opening its doors as a restaurant in 1934.
