The Innovalia Metrology Unit assembles skills, laboratories and resources from its four foundational companies: CARSA, TRIMEK, UNIMETRIK and DATAPIXEL. The Unit has been operational for more than 15 years, and the close collaboration of these companies has resulted in a common Associated Research Lab, the Innovalia Association. Apart from its original members, the Metrology Unit also maintains formal collaboration agreements with a selected group of R&D centres, SMEs and larger enterprises, which fulfil two fundamental premises: excellence and a proven commitment to R&D activities. The Metrology Unit operates in accordance with international standards such as ISO 9000, ISO 10.012, ISO 17025, QS 9000, TS 16949 The Metrology Unit is member of ISO TC 213 Committee and AENOR CTN 82/SC2. The Unit is an ENAC Metrology Services company. Innovalia Metrology Unit Chairs the International Association of Coordinate Measuring Machines (IA-CMM) and a board member of the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA).
