The mission of A Wider Circle is to advance equity in the greater Washington, DC region by fostering the exchange of goods, skills, and connections from neighbor to neighbor, and by engaging in advocacy to address the root causes of poverty.

For twenty years, Cross-Cultural Solutions has aimed to create a sense of improved understanding and shared humanity in the world through international volunteer opportunities. We know that the best approach to international volunteering—the only approach—is one designed by the community. Our Mission is to operate volunteer programs around the world in partnership with sustainable community initiatives, bringing people together to work side-by-side while sharing perspectives and fostering cultural understanding. We are an international nonprofit organization with no political or religious affiliations. Our Vision is of a world where people value cultures different from their own, are aware of global issues, and are empowered to effect positive change. Cross-Cultural Solutions is a social enterprise founded in 1995. Each year, thousands of people participate in our volunteer programs in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. CCS has a worldwide staff of over 200 people in 8 countries, with administrative offices also located in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. In the UK, CCS is a Registered Charity (No. 1106741) and a Registered Company Limited by Guarantee (No. 4991010). In Canada, CCS is a registered non-profit corporation (Federal Corporation No. 445810-9).

The Niche Marketing Group, a Chicago based company, was founded in April of 1997 with a goal to consolidate all aspects of the entertainment, fashion and the modeling industry into one dynamic product. Our focus includes providing income-generating opportunities for fashion designers, promoters, writers, established models as well as yet-discovered models. To make this possible, the NMG released BlaqueImage.com on August 12th, 2000. This web site featured many entertainment genres which also became a promotional vehicle for models and special events covered by The NMG staff. In October of 2001, The Niche Marketing Group released its second web site, BlaqueImage.net. This site is exclusively designed for intermediate and professional models. As a self-contained operation, BlaqueImage.net is dedicated to hiring and photographing both amateur and professional ethnic models.
