TRIL is a laboratory based in João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba state in Northeastern Brazil. As part of the Federal University of Paraíba, we are committed to advancing the knowledge and the national competitiveness from high-quality research, development, and innovation. By continuously bridging academia, government, and private sector, we deliver end-to-end digital solutions through an interdisciplinary perspective, establishing ourselves as a pioneering research powerhouse in the region. TRIL is a two-branch unit led by an outside-the-box interdisciplinary team with a strong record of research impact and entrepreneurial achievement. Mature and fully equipped to serve both the private and public sectors, AIBIS and HOCSE are the wings that drive our progress. - AIBIS (Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence Services) group: robust in implementation, software engineering, and artificial intelligence, it is our business-oriented branch. - HOCSE (Holistic Computational Science and Engineering) group: powerful in abstraction, domain modeling, and data lifecycle, it is our research-oriented branch. Focused on STE* fields, our wheel of knowledge is built around three holistic profiles that operate at the intersection of computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, engineering, and mathematics. Together, they allow us to balance scientific rigor with industry pragmatism across research and multi-purpose software development.
