Over the last 40 years, Trident’s USJ division in Canada (formerly Joiner Systems Inc.) has earned acclaim as a top-quality provider of custom marine interiors, including fire-rated doors and ceilings; watertight doors, hatches and closures; and other marine interior systems. Serving the defense, cruise, oil & gas and commercial markets from its base in Montreal, Trident is known for its wide range of products and its quick delivery time. Joiner Systems was founded in the 70’s has been in the business of manufacturing and distributing top quality accommodation systems for commercial and naval ships. In the 80’s the company was involved in the Frigate programme. Completing supply and supervision of the installation of the accommodations on twelve frigates. In 1994 the company was transformed to include a division to manufacture industrial expansion joints and dampers. The company was expanded in 2005 to manage the added product line and increased business. The manufacturing capabilities have been improved by applying ISO 9002, and steadily upgrading the equipment to improve productivity and support increased demands. 'The Crew' has been with the company for many years, and have developed their expertise in our niche products. Our commercial marine products are certified to the Internation Maritime Organization requirements. As a result, USJ Canada is recognized as a leading Canadian marine industry provider and has successfully opened its clientele base to include the United States, Mexico and many other markets.
