TrendMaps purpose is simple: we want to assist companies in understanding macro trends and uncertainties (gray swans in our terminology) and to commercially exploit and manage these strong developments and risk exposures. In particular, we focus on technologies that are central to the ongoing digital transformation of businesses and society. This also includes the organizational breakthrough technologies used by so-called exponential organizations in the creation of new high growth businesses that cut across traditional sectors and create headwinds for more traditional businesses. We believe such organizational technologies can be applied by legacy businesses and could be a pathway to new growth and competitiveness. Further, we are dealing extensively with political, sociological and geopolitical macro trends and risks, as we generally expect these areas to be even more important for businesses in the future.
