When you buy a home at Treeview Estates you are entering into a lifetime lease on the villa of your choice. The lease entitles you to hassle-free uninterrupted occupation of your home and full enjoyment of all village facilities. You have legal protection under the Retirement Villages Act of NSW, the lease is registered with the lands title office and you may sell your villa at any time. What are the financial arrangements? When you sell your villa the proceeds will be subject to an industry standard departure fee of 5% for each of the first three (3) years and 3% for each of the following seven (7) years. This departure fee will be based on the price you initially paid for your villa. Any capital gain on the villa is shared equally between you and Treeview Estates.
