treeDC Information

treeDC is a volunteer-run tree nursery, dedicated to increasing canopy coverage in the DC metro area. We gather tiny volunteer trees that pop up in mulched flower beds and undesirable locations, and foster them in pots until they're large enough for replanting in areas of need. Our backyard nurseries are currently home to roughly 700 tiny trees, and we aim to donate 500 trees by the year 2030.
