1994: Traxdata was established while the world IT market was changing from the Magnetic media(Floppy discs) to Digital media(CD recordable and DVD recordable), and Traxdata became the world largest CD recordable brand in the mid of 1990's. 2001 - 2002: RITEK Corporation decides to market the Traxdata brand throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East with her subsidiary Ritek Europe (Conrexx Technology B.V.) Soon in 2002 Traxdata becomes the first brand in Europe to market DVD-R 4X media. Traxdata starts to become one of the leading brands in CD and DVD media, and benefits from the Research & Development being conducted by the largest manufacturer of optical storage media in the world. By adding a large number of new optical media products to its range, Traxdata strengthens its reputation as a leader in the media storage industry and grows its European market share by storm. 2003: December sees Traxdata make an incredible technology leap by introducing DVD+R 8x media enabling consumers to record at speeds twice as fast as ever before. The brand leaves competitors behind in the race to meet consumer demands.
