Travengers AU Information

Travengers AU was created for young adults who wants to be independent, social and enjoy life, but without the opportunity to do so. It was founded by Agnes Abelsen in January 2020, after many years frustration seeing the limited opportunities her autistic sister had, as well as several young people she met through her professional work as a Disability Nurse. We take our group members on 'a journey to independence', through social events and group travel experiences. - Group travel - Social events in Sydney, Western Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane - Respite - Online Travel Training Programs - Virtual Travel Group - 1:1 independence building support Mission Statement We will create equal opportunities for young people with social support needs to travel, challenge themselves, build connections and enjoy a good quality of life. We will educate others through our travels, and create a ripple-effect of acceptance and understanding. Vision A world where travel and social connection is possible for all young adults. A world where people who are autistic or with a hidden disability are accommodated for, and accepted and appreciated for who they are. To be available for young people across Australia and beyond.
