PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri (TransNusa) is Indonesia’s fastest-growing airline, recently expanding into international routes. It's distinguished as the first worldwide carrier to operate the COMAC ARJ21 with a custom interior seating only 95 passengers. Similarly, its Airbus 320 features a tailored layout for enhanced passenger comfort and flexibility, accommodating just 174 seats. In 2023, TransNusa achieved regulatory approval from China for the Jakarta – Guangzhou route, marking a significant milestone.
