Transmost, a public limited company, is one of the leading consulting civil engineering companies in Russia, specialized in bridges, tunnels and other artificial structures on roads and railways. It was established in 1930 in Leningrad City. The main activity of Transmost Company is the survey and design of new and reconstruction of existing artificial structures for roads and railways, streets and avenues of cities, the arrangement of pedestrian traffic, metro lines, tram, communications for combined flow of various kinds of traffic. Based on the company's projects, hundreds of large bridges, including tens of movable bridges, thousands of small and medium size artificial structures for transport such as bridges, overpasses, viaducts, embankments, tunnels and culverts, were constructed or reconstructed almost in all regions of Russia, the CIS countries, and in other countries. Some projects of Transmost have been awarded with the state prizes.
