Transition Composites Engineering was founded in Ferndale, Washington in 2007. Initially organized as a consulting and service engineering company, TCE worked with EPL Composite Solutions in the UK establishing thermoplastic composites manufacturing technologies in the US and UK. With a history and knack for solving difficult problems quickly, TCE added prototyping, pattern work, and process equipment development to its list of capabilities. Working with clients to reduce manufacturing cost through automation, we have helped turn losing products into winners and repatriate manufacturing to the USA. In 2013, TCE moved into a larger commercial production space shared with A to Z Composites in Bellingham, Washington. TCE and A to Z's owners share a synergy in experience, management, staff, equipment, product development, and problem solving. Together we make a powerful team capable of taking on projects big or small.
