Transit Media was founded in 1990. We have been managing transit advertising contracts for 20 years. In 1990, We foresaw the need for an alternative to traditional advertising, which is cost effective, but with high impact and recall. Transit advertising does not advocate subscribes to a well-balanced approach to advertising and marketing communication campaign, which should be anchored on both strategic and cost-efficient ways of reaching the market. It was started by Vic del Fierro, Jr. a veteran advertising, public relations, marketing practitioner and a freelance journalist.(as a regular contributor to national newspapers and magazines since 1966 and for a time a columnist) who started his career in account management in 1965 with the largest multinational advertising agency in the Philippines at that time.
