Founded in 2013 in Pisa, the city with the leading Computer Science department in Italy, by researchers of one of the most important government research laboratories worldwide, Transform and Lighting S.r.l. (TnL for friends!) creates innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Client (B2C) products and ad-hoc solutions that leverage the astonishing new advances in Computer Graphics (CG), Computer Vision (CV), and Machine Learning (ML) to shape the world of tomorrow. TnL expertise embraces several fields, like 3D reconstruction of real world scenery from photographs or scanned, vectorial, or raster data, 3D real-time rendering, 3D printing, geometry analysis and processing of small to huge multiresolution dataset, computer vision, advanced interactive user interfaces, and artificial intelligence. We known that in these contexts many technologies need time to become mature and thus apply a pragmatic approach when envisioning our time-to-market plans. Also, many other technologies have a brilliant but short burst, and that’s why we spend a considerable amount of our resources in research, technology-agnostic knowledge, and in improving our ability to be up-to-date, to adapt, and to foresee what the new promising horizons are.
