Transfervans Information

Initially conceived as a point-to-point consumer-to-consumer delivery service, Transfervans pivoted to a B2B home delivery service (for oversized deliveries / ugly freight) driven by a customer-centric focus and revolutionary technology. Transfervans built a network of independent van and truck drivers using the flexible supply model, using their excess capacity or working a bit extra on top of a regular job - providing customer centric deliveries using bespoke in-house sign-on-glass technology. Transfervans reinvented the industry by focusing on four pillars: affordability, convenience, trust and transparency. By building an efficient system utilizing the most efficient logistics routing, without having to bear the costs of having its own fleet, Transfervans managed to be than its more affordable than the competition, offering clear upfront pricing. In true customer-centric fashion, receivers were provided with first-in-market SMS and email notifications resulting in 99% same day delivery and Net Promoter Scores regularly exceeding 90.0. The business was acquired by Toll Global Express (now Team Global Express in Dec 2020). The separate Transfervans business unit was closed in July 2022 following integration of business practices into the wider business and a refocus on the core activities of TGE.
