Accredited IATA in 1953 and ATAF in 1955 we are a founder member of AAVM, TOP and GOTO Associations in this country. Our initial activity was the sale of tickets on the two airlines serving Madagascar, namely Air France and TAI, and on the Messageries Maritimes shipping company linking Tamatave to Marseille. Since then with the open sky policy gradually in place we have been appointed as Agents of all other airlines serving Madagascar. On the other hand with our overseas Correspondents and regional sister companies all crosses border tickets are feasible. From 1960 and after choosing reliable Tour Operators in the countries served by airlines leaving Madagascar we launched the outgoing activity. Sometime later in same year, we started the incoming activity by organizing shore excursions for the passengers of the cruise steamer "Caronia" who was transporting around 250 american millionaires around the world and calling every year for 48 hours at Tamatave. To-day with all developments we handle regularly package tours for individuals and groups throughout the island for a wide range of Tour Operators in the world which we represent. Being part of the Rogers Group in Mauritius our Agency is equipped with updated technologies and office tools and employ some 30 qualified staff who are regularly on training and having an average age of 35 years. In addition there are about 15 tourist guides/interpreters working for us. We are to-day a one stop shop in this activity. Transcontinents
