TransCanyon is an independent developer of electric transmission infrastructure for the western United States. Our mission is to develop, build, own and operate electric transmission infrastructure to the benefit of all utility customers. Founded in 2014, TransCanyon was born from the desire to combine the strengths of two organizations: Pinnacle West Capital Corporation’s subsidiary, Bright Canyon Energy, and Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s subsidiary, BHE U.S. Transmission. Both organizations have tremendous experience developing transmission infrastructure across the western United States.
