TrailCurrent Information

TrailCurrent is an open-source connected vehicle platform spanning 30 MIT-licensed repositories — from custom PCB design and CAN bus firmware through edge computing to cloud infrastructure and mobile applications. The platform takes an edge-first approach: decisions happen locally at the point of action, not in a distant data center. The system operates without internet connectivity, with cloud as an enhancement rather than a dependency.
