Tradesure Underwriting Specialists (an Authorised Financial Services Provider) started business in 2003, offering a Small to Medium Commercial Insurance solution to Small to Medium Brokers. In March 2009 we launched our Heavy Commercial Vehicle facility, Tradesure Marine Underwriters, with Western National Insurance Company Limited. Tradesure Underwriting Specialist’s Commercial business moved to Western National Insurance Company Limited on 1 June 2009, resulting in our reinsurance limits increasing substantially. Our mandate includes the full Underwriting and Claims function, giving us the flexibility to provide the best service to our Broker and his client. We offer the Broker a high level of comfort, as Western National Insurance Company Limited carry 20% of the risk for their own account. 80% of the risk is carried by our lead reinsurer, African Reinsurance Company Limited, who have a A- S&P Rating. Furthermore, Western National Insurance Company Limited have an Excess of Loss Policy in place covering any one loss over R1 Million. You can therefore rest assured that we have you and your client covered.
