Tradesource (PGC) Information

Ownership is still not a digital primitive in global trade. That creates a structural problem: documents representing physical goods can be duplicated, pledged multiple times, difficult to verify, and slow to transfer - limiting trust, settlement and access to finance. After 35+ years in international commodity trade across Africa and Asia, I’m building TradeSource to address that infrastructure gap. TradeSource turns warehouse receipts into verifiable, transferable digital titles designed for legal enforceability - enabling ownership of physical goods to move securely across trade transactions. Our infrastructure combines: - UNCITRAL-aligned digital trade instruments - Ricardian contracts linking legal rights to digital execution - Permissioned ledger infrastructure and document verification - Real-world commodity trade workflows We are starting with a focused use case: warehouse-based commodity transactions between Vietnam and West Africa. Our end-to-end PoC has been validated at TRL4, and we are now preparing the first commercial corridor and platform transaction. Before the platform, the founding team executed 5 real commodity transactions representing €450k in GMV and €22.5k in fees — validating the underlying commercial workflow and economics. The objective is straightforward: make ownership of physical goods verifiable, transferable and usable for settlement and financing.
