Traders@UST Information

Traders@UST is a student-run organisation that aims to bring together students passionate in the financial industry and to act as a bridge between students and industry professionals. Together with the HKUST Entrepreneurship Centre, our main objective is to provide a platform for passionate students to innovate in the fields of Finance and Financial Technology. Currently, we have two goals: First, to train associates in preparing for internships and trading competitions through our year-long curriculum. Second, develop our internal performance management system in order to establish a tangible track record of our performance. Having a solid foundation and knowledge in technology is becoming increasingly important for many careers within the financial industry. We seek to leverage on this market trend to prepare our members with the key insight of the major changes and innovations currently within the industry. Concurrent with weekly sessions, we aim to provide associates with insights on the FinTech industry as part of our goal to be a tech-driven community. With resources from the Entrepreneurship Centre, Traders@UST seeks to establish a reputable presence in the HKUST community.
