TPM Information

Founded in 1947, TPM (Thermotech Precision Molding) is a precision injection molder serving the automotive, small engine, consumer products, industrial, packaging, and medical markets. We run four plants — Hopkins, Minnesota; Monterrey, Mexico; Juárez, Mexico; and Querétaro, Mexico — with 155 molding machines from 25 to 1,450 tons. Every plant can mold individual components or build complex sub- and final assemblies, supported by vibration, ultrasonic, and hot plate welding, leak decay, and pressure and flow testing. Our capabilities span thermoplastic and thermoset molding, insert, 2-shot, and overmolding, decorative finishing, assembly, and test, across a wide range of engineered resins. In-house tooling lets us fine-tune new molds, execute design changes, and stay ahead of preventive maintenance, and we work with global tool sources to develop best-in-class tooling. Product and tool design support is available to partners who need it. We're also known for tool transfer. Our established program resources tooling on an expedited timeline, protecting our partners' supply chains and freeing their engineering teams for higher-value work. TPM components are in our partners' products around the globe.
