Founded in 2006, Tozzi Nord designs, manufactures and markets wind turbines with horizontal axis for suburban environment. Tozzi Nord is an Italian company of Gruppo Tozzi, one of the first operators to invest in renewable energy, promoting and developing plants for the production of electricity (hydro, solar, wind, biomass and biogas). On the strength of his experience in the development of the Group Tozzi maxi wind plants (over 270 MW installed), Tozzi Nord is in fact the only manufacturer of small wind turbines that can boast "intellectual property" beyond comparison among manufacturers of small wind turbines. The turbine design and construction phases are supported by an intense and constant experimental R&D, conducted by Tozzi Nord researches in collaboration with the best Italian Universities. The Tozzi Nord flagship product is TN535, horizontal-axis wind turbine with performance and aerodynamics / mechanical properties of a big wind turbine, such as the active pitch control and the active yaw system. TN535 is able to reach high outputs of energy even at sites with low wind speed (37,300 kWh / year with an average annual wind speed of 5 m/s), as attested by its certified power curve; strict functional testing, performed under conditions of maximum stress, together with an advanced control system of the machine, guarantee maximum safety and high availability over time (over 90%). More than 50 wind turbines installed for more than one million four hundred thousand operating hours, testify to the highest safety and reliability. Tozzi Nord also offers the customer a turnkey service, both during the sale and after-sales services, providing a maintenance that becomes a true extension of warranty. To cover all the needs of the Italian market and abroad Tozzi Nord has designed the "stand alone" solution for the supply of isolated users not served by the national grid.
