Raw Materials Company Inc. (RMC) is an international leader in the field of battery and electronics recycling. Through the use of our patented technology, RMC currently recycles more alkaline batteries then any company in North America, and now has the capacity to recycle every alkaline battery sold into the Canadian marketplace on an annual basis. RMC’s alkaline technology enables the recovery and reuse of all materials contained in an alkaline battery including zinc, manganese, steel, water, and potassium. These materials account for 86% of an alkaline battery. When waste to energy conversion is factored into recycling rate RMC recycling efficiency reaches 100%.
