Total Eye Care Partners Information

The company started in 2017 when a small group of industry leading individuals saw that there was an opportunity to create a different type of business model. Private Equity firms had begun to enter the scene and attract good practices with good valuations but gave little opportunity after purchasing the practice. Total ECP wanted to create something a little different. The foundation for the new model was to find owner doctors looking for a way to participate with Private Equity but give up the headaches that come with owning a small business. The model needed to be straightforward and simple: Free the doctors to be the best providers they can by giving them the time and resources to focus on patient care. The partnership would not only provide value "up front" but would also create additional value opportunities through partnership versus employment. In 2017, the founders partnered with Imperial Capital out of Toronto to form Total Eye Care Partners. Total ECP hit the ground running by assembling a team of experienced eyecare industry veterans. Leading the way are founders Dr Ben Gaddie (Chief Medical Officer) and Jay Binkowitz (EVP of Business Strategy), along with Bob Barton as President and CEO. The rest of the Executive Committee includes industry leaders such as Mike Austin as SVP of Operations, Lance Snarr as SVP of Business Development, and George Todd as SVP of Finance. About Us
