Torquato AG Information

The premium mail-order company Torquato was founded in 2000 in Geesthacht near Hamburg and is currently employing roundabout 60 employees. True to the motto "well chosen" our range of products consists of high-quality, rare or classic products in the area of Table- & Kitchenware, House & Home, Shoes & Clothing, Bath & Body Care, Luggage, Outdoor & Accessories, Stationery & Office as well as Toys & Children. We carry roughly 5,000 items of which c. 3,500 are presented in our most recent catalogue. Torquato is co-operating with more than 500 suppliers. Most suppliers are based in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy but also other European countries and the United States. Many of them only contribute to one single product of Torquato's range. This may seem like an extravagance but it is important to us as it underlines the distinctiveness of our range. We are convinced of the importance of keeping the most important elements which distribute to an optimum service in-house. Therefore, our customer service as well as our warehouse and logistic's department are located on the same premises and are carried out without any external service providers.
