Top Notch Seed Information

Top Notch Seed was founded in June of 2007 by partners Don Emanuelli and Ray Johnson with the goal to create a custom cleaning facility that always has the growers' best interests in mind. Ray, after fifteen years of working in the seed business at IV Milling, approached Don, a long time farmer whose family began farming in the valley in the early 1900's, with the idea of starting Top Notch Seeds. Ray and Don purchased the dilapidated facility formerly owned by AzCal Seeds, and began to remodel the facility immediately. Located in the heart of some of the nation's most bountiful farm land, just north of the Mexican border, Top Notch Seeds has been instrumental in seed cleaning and sales throughout the Imperial Valley, much of the US and even internationally since the doors were opened in 2007. Through seed innovation technologies the experienced staff at Top Notch offers a number of services such as seed cleaning, contract seed production and increases, seed treatments, packaging and exporting and are vastly looking to grow to serve our growers and customers needs in the best way possible.
