Toolamation Services Information

Toolamation, Inc. is a privately owned company that was incorporated in 1968. We specialize in high-volume automated production broaching and screw machine tooling products. We are small enough to offer personal, quality service, yet large enough to support high-volume production with competitive pricing. We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified company assessed by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) . Our certification covers broaching and associated machining services. The company was started by Marlin Bird in 1965 as Precision Grinders. Soon after, our automated manufacturing services became our primary business, and the name was changed to Toolamation. The first employee was Willard Mill. Will engineered the company's first broaching machines. The technology was years ahead of the competition. To this day, we have never stopped innovating and improving our designs. As our business grew, we added supporting services, including heat treating, tumbling, CNC machining and EDM services. In July 2012, Marlin retired and Tony Deieso and Tom Hartford who together were running a successful CNC machining company in Zion, IL purchased Toolamation and changed the name to Toolamation Services, Inc. with a goal to get both companies under one roof. We have realized that goal, and we are now in our new building in Kenosha, WI. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come! Our former 15,000 square foot facility was located in Beach Park, Illinois. We are still located in the heart of the midwest between Milwaukee and Chicago. Our central U.S. location is ideal for shipping parts to and from any part of the country. In the spring of 2015, we relocated about 15 minutes north to our new 46,000 square foot facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
