Apex was founded in the year 1978 by late Mr.P.M. Abdul Bashir, with the vision of satisfying the industrial supply needs of the region. From this early vision, his idea was to have a store where friendly staffs cater to every need of its customers who can walk away with quality goods for best value. In 1978 Apex opened its first store in Abu Dhabi, primarily concentrating on small and medium sized companies. Apex moved to Mussafah Industrial area in 1982. In 1991 Emirates Tools a sister company of Apex was started in Mussafah and following year (1992) Apex started a new branch in Mussafah M-14. 1997 saw Apex move to Dubai by opening a sister company under the name House of Tools. The big push to become a major player in the market came in the year 2004 when Apex opened a second store in Mussafah M-9 and another sister company in Mussafah by the name Hardware Market. 2005 was a sad year in the history of Apex when we lost our founded Mr. P.M.
