Tomorrow Development Information

Tomorrow Development is a real estate development company headquartered in Los Angeles, founded by Jacob Leonard. We specialize in complex development projects across the residential and multifamily sectors, and are uniquely positioned to understand the distinct challenges that come with each type of property, from ground-up construction to the adaptive reuse of landmark buildings. We have built our practice around a tailored, methodical approach that spans the full arc of a project: site selection, due diligence, entitlements and permit strategies, design, construction, and the long-term management of the asset. This lets our clients and partners work with a single team rather than coordinating separately with architects, contractors, and consultants at each stage. A particular area of expertise is historic and landmark-designated property — buildings within Historic Preservation Overlay Zones (HPOZ) or designated as Historic-Cultural Monuments (HCM). These projects require a careful balance between preservation requirements and the practical demands of modern construction, and we bring both the regulatory experience and the craftsmanship needed to execute them well. On the construction side, we self-perform General Contracting with our own crews rather than subcontracting and managing from a distance, which keeps projects on schedule and executed as designed. Because we build directly, we also source materials directly, giving us tighter control over cost, quality, and timeline throughout. We think about our projects as long-term investments rather than standalone construction jobs, taking the same disciplined approach to capital that we bring to design and execution — one that reduces risk, increases transparency, and creates a more strategic path to building wealth through real estate.
