Founded 45 years ago, Togawa Smith Martin, Inc. (TSM) is a California-based architecture and planning firm. We continue to be a prominent force and thought leader in the market sectors of multifamily residential, mixed-used, affordable housing, student housing, senior housing and hospitality/retail. Our collective team consists of talented architects, designers, and planners who are responsible for some of the most challenging projects in California. Our design approach is simple yet powerful - “inside/out” and “hands-on”. This begins early in our design process and continues throughout all phases of design and construction. The personal involvement of the firm’s principals in every project from inception to occupancy is another key attribute of our firm.
