Ecoprint has come a long way since our humble beginnings in 1977, when our shop was a press bolted to the floor of an old school bus. In those days, serving as the print shop for grassroots environmental organizations, mobility was the key. We have since settled permanently in Alexandria Virginia but have never forgotten the importance of placing environmental sustainability above all else. With services including, design and graphics, signage and large format production, digital and offset printing and a full service letter shop. In 1991 we were awarded a research grant from the EPA to create our unique metal-free "eco-ink". In 2003 we became the first U.S. Printer to use 100% wind energy. In 2005 we became the first U.S. print shop to become completely Carbon Neutral. Our reforestation efforts began in 2013 with our partnership with Forest Planet, Inc. a company that plants mangrove trees in deforested areas of Madagascar.
