Todd Hobin is an American singer/songwriter and founder of the Todd Hobin Band. The original members continue to play to a dedicated and growing fan base, delivering the legendary performances that made them one of rocks hardest working and well-traveled bands. The music is distinctly American, melodic, driving, and powerful. Theyve played thousands of shows and have shared the stage with the greatest bands of their time from The Beach Boys and Kinks, to the Allman Brothers and Hall & Oates. Their recently released double CD set, The Early Years is filled with Hobin classics: I Hate You, Keepin the Dream Alive, New York Country Song, and many more. Their latest album, Its Not Overcontinues in the same tradition; critically acclaimed, rocking, thoughtful and uncompromising. They remain a closely held treasure to those who know their music. Hobin is a gifted and prolific songwriter and composer. His Wellness Suite of new age music is a comforting walk through the woods, providing an ambiance for healing, meditation, or a kickback conversation with a glass of wine. His music scores can be heard in film, TV, and Audio Books. Credits include scores for King Kong and Shannon Hales Goose Girl. He directed and wrote the music for Fairest, a novel by Gail Carson Levine, author of Ella Enchanted, of which Publishers Weekly said, This is a rare case: the book itself is superb, but the audio production surpasses it. He was the Musical Director and lead songwriter on the acclaimed, nationally syndicated childrens television series Pappyland.
