TOConnect Information

We are building Toronto’s first social app designed specifically to help immigrants build meaningful friendships and a strong sense of community. Moving to a new country is exciting, but it can also feel isolating. Finding people who share your interests, culture, or experiences isn’t always easy. Our mission is to make it simple for newcomers to connect with like-minded people, participate in local activities, and build real friendships in Toronto. Our platform helps immigrants discover local buddies to explore the city, attend events, try new activities, and grow their social circles in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether it’s grabbing coffee, joining a sports group, exploring cultural events, or discovering hidden gems in the city, we help newcomers feel at home faster. We believe that strong social connections are key to successful integration, well-being, and belonging. By combining technology with community-driven experiences, we’re creating opportunities for immigrants to connect, share experiences, and thrive in their new home.
