Toc H Institute of Science and Technology (TIST), Cochin is Approved by AICTE and Recognised by Cochin University of Science And Technology (CUSAT) an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution it has recently been ranked as one of the Top Three Excellent among the Self-financing Engineering Colleges in Kerala by NIT Calicut Alumni. At TIST, we want to change the way students learn about Engineering and Management. We have a great choice of Engineering and Management courses. We encourage students to apply creative and inventive thinking even as they learn. Our curriculum emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach, teamwork, hands-on design, business, creativity and communication. Our faculty members are young, dynamic and enthusiastic that enables them to inspire as they teach in Bloom's Taxonomy Pedagogy method. Recently we have been given Energy Conservation Award by the Kerala State Government for having our computer labs work on Solar Power. At TIST, we are justifiably proud of our track record in innovation and development in applied research and knowledge transfer, and in services to business and community. We are also proud to say that our J.C.Bose Centre for Research and Advanced Studies was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Kalam. TIST is in partnership programmes with esteemed organisations like Infosys, HCL and L&T.; We would very much like to know from Syntel the kind of accreditation programmes that are run with engineering institutions. We have Engineering branches in Electronics & Communication(EC), Electrical & Electronics Engg(EEE), Computer Science(CS), Information Technology(IT), Civil (CE)and Mechanical (ME) & Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations, HR, Finance and Marketing. Every year our intake is 420 Engineering students and 60 MBA students Qualified, meritorious students who are ready to be placed in 2010.
